VS Live scores hat-trick with football’s star-studded ICC Tournament

VS LIVE, formerly SKY ARENA events, has scored a massive coup, and will exclusively screen football’s star studded inaugural International Champions Cup Australia tournament live from the Melbourne Cricket Ground next month.

The competition, which runs from July 18 to the 24th, features three of the world’s biggest clubs in Real Madrid, AS Roma and Manchester City FC, and their superstar rosters including Sergio Agüero (Manchester City), Gareth Bale (Real Madrid), Francesco Totti (AS Roma) and the incomparable Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), who was recently crowned “FIFA World Player of the Year”.

More than 220,000 tickets are expected to be sold for the three-match series between the iconic European giants.

The tournament open’s with Real Madrid CF versus AS Roma on Saturday, 18 July. AS Roma then face Manchester City FC on Tuesday, 21st, before the tournament concludes on Friday, 24 July, with a thrilling clash between Real Madrid CF and Manchester City FC in one of the largest football matches ever played outside of Europe.

The competition will be fierce, with all three clubs presently alive in the UEFA Champions League, and vying for their respective national titles. Currently, AS Roma are second in Serie A, Real Madrid lead La Liga and Manchester City are second in the EPL.

VS LIVE was the first company to pay-per-view EPL in New Zealand with last years Carlsberg United football tour, and launched its first online stream in June with Robbie Berridge’s IBO world title fight.

It will cost $14.95 for an individual ‘game pass’ and $29.95 for a ‘season pass’ to view all three games.
